Our Story
From Personal Passions to Professional Purpose
Leticia was introduced to property from a young age. Growing up in Spain in a family of investors, she learned that with creativity, care, and determination, you can achieve more than you imagine. Her passion for property deepened during the three years she spent living and working in the Maldives, inspiring a deep love for hospitality, where attention to detail and a warm, personal service made a lasting impact. That experience shaped her belief that wherever people stay, they should feel truly at home.
Gwendal came to property through a hands-on path. As a teenager, he worked with his father on renovation projects and later gained experience on construction sites while studying. That practical background led him to a career in civil engineering and construction management, giving him a strong foundation in building and maintaining quality spaces.
Leticia and Gwendal began investing in buy-to-let properties in both Spain and the UK, and naturally expanded into serviced accommodation, where they discovered a passion for creating welcoming, well-designed places to stay, tailored for professionals, travellers, and those needing comfort away from home.
Today, Berry-Purse continues to grow across locations with the same passion and commitment, the same values we began with: to create homes that are more than just places to stay. Leticia brings a unique blend of technical expertise and a deep appreciation for the guest experience to Berry-Purse. With a background in civil engineering, she’s spent years managing infrastructure projects across the UK—from budgeting and scheduling to leading teams on-site and ensuring smooth handovers. Attention to detail, clear communication, and a strong focus on quality have been key to every success. Her time living in the Maldives, building luxury resorts, shaped her path into serviced accommodation. There, she saw how thoughtful hospitality, where every choice centres on guest comfort, can leave a lasting impact. It inspired her to bring that same level of care to her own spaces.
Today, Leticia draws on both construction and hospitality to deliver stays that feel seamless and warm. She believes great accommodation should be effortless, well-managed, beautifully designed, and welcoming.
Gwendal offers a strong balance of construction knowledge and financial planning. His property journey began young, working alongside his father on refurbishments, which led him to a career in civil engineering and construction management. This gave him the skills to deliver high-quality spaces with precision and care.
Over the years, he’s contributed to a variety of developments, from a luxury high-rise in London to client-led projects in Belgium and affordable housing in Paris. These experiences shaped his focus on quality, adaptability, and understanding the specific needs of each project. Gwendal also brings financial expertise to the table. With skills in accounting, budgeting, and project planning, he enjoys finding practical, effective solutions. Whether securing contractors, managing costs, or planning ahead, his approach is methodical, value-driven, and rooted in trust.
